Every time I do one of these I get into a rhythm and start busting out one post after another but then after a few, I stop and won't do another in a long time. Well hopefully that will change. Anywho, onto the update...

- Helped out on a web series with my friend, Andy Chinn, and it surprisingly went well. I was the script supervisor, camera and sound logger, and even slate at one point. I'll be honest, I hated my job duties but it was okay. Everyone for the most part was very professional on set and we had some top notch actors/actresses. Hope it all goes well in post.
- Been working a lot with Mike Alcantara aka Nik Nak on developing his Youtube page and marketing himself. We're in talks of doing 2 more music videos off his 'My 2 Cents' album and we're gonna be doing the Youtube thang as well. Finally, still debating with what I really wanna do with my life since trying to find a new job is so hard. I hate the fact in this film/tv industry, its not what you know, its who you know. But anyways, I'm still grinding and still gonna try to make short films and music videos on my time. Maybe I should just be my own boss!

Naks Back // Puttin' It Down Music Video!

Its been awhile since I posted some new work but like I said in the previous posts, crazy stuff has been going on. Anyways, I've been fortunate enough to be working with an independent hip hop artist by the name of Mike 'Nik Nak' Alcantara. I started working with him by filming his album release party for his album 'My 2 Cents' which came out in February 11, 2010. Check out the video of the event!

Since Mike thought I did a good job, he asked me to do his first music video. I agreed and after lots of crazy run-n-gun filming, a San Diego trip that was stressful and exhausting, many hours spent editing and TONS OF HOURS RENDERING, the video is done! Check it out!

For the people I met while making this video with Mike, Thank You for working with me and I'm sure Mike thanks you as well.

In closing, Mike wants to do more videos, hopefully we will get that poppin' so stay tuned! In the meantime, I'm going to try to do some little skits or short films along the way. Till next time!

Haven't posted on this in a LONG TIME! Quick update.

So for the few that ever read my blog, including my Bean Bag Lobster I keep on my desk, this post is for you. I know its been a long time but a lot of crazy shiet has been happening to me, not necessarily good or bad, just crazy and yet very stressful. o_O

I honestly like to think that playing video games keep me sane. Been playing a lot of Red Dead Redemption which is insanely addicting. Dueling in story mode is such a pain in the ass! But for me, I love going into Free Roam mode online and fucking around with people. For the thousands I have killed and fucked around with, I am truly sorry. So much fun, I think after this post I'll be hitting it up.

I finally finished rearranging my room and cleaning it to where I am finally happy with it, I think. My main focus was to get a L-shaped desk and since I shouldn't be spending money on one, I combined two desks I had and made an L-shaped 'wannabe' desk. So I am back editing stuff on my 'new' desk. New stuff coming soon, hopefully. So stay tuned!
